The Pure Charity team has the privilege of supporting the 2013 Help-Portrait Global Movement of photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists using their time, tools, and expertise to give back.

How?

By giving pictures!

How can pictures make a difference?

Help-Portrait is a community of photographers, hairstylists and makeup artists coming together across the world to use their skills to give back to their local community.

In December, Help-Portrait communities all around the world will be grabbing their cameras, scissors, and brushes to serve people by offering simple dignity and capturing those moments in pictures.  Those pictures are then given as a gift those individuals and families who will hold them as treasured gifts for generations to come.

This really is about GIVING the pictures, not taking them.

This holiday season, you have the chance to give a family something they may have never had before—a portrait together.

Who needs pictures? Anyone who wouldn’t normally have access to or be able to afford professional photography.

Help-Portrait suggest coming alongside those who are homeless, orphans, single moms (and their kids), single dads (and their kids), sick children, sick parents, the elderly, veterans, underprivileged families and even your neighbor?

So, how can YOU get involved?!

Visit Help-Portrait’s website to find how you can get involved on a deeper level by volunteering your skills or time to help with portraits in your community.

To help support a local Help-Portrait initiative, you can contribute to their fundraisers on Pure Charity.
