How to Update Your Payment Method and Resume a Recurring Donation on Pure Charity

If your credit card has expired, been replaced, or your recurring donation has failed due to a payment issue, you can update your payment method and resume your recurring donation from your Pure Charity User Dashboard.

How to Update Your Payment Method

Step 1: Sign in to your Pure Charity account at purecharity.com/signin.

Step 2: From your User Dashboard, navigate to your Recurring Donations or Payment Methods section.

Step 3: Find the recurring donation with the outdated payment method.

Step 4: Click “Update Payment Method” or “Edit” next to the recurring donation.

Step 5: Enter your new credit card or payment information.

Step 6: Click “Save” to update the payment method and resume the recurring donation.

What Happens When a Recurring Donation Fails?

When a recurring donation fails (due to an expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), Pure Charity will attempt to notify you via email. The recurring donation will be paused until you update your payment method. Once updated, the recurring donation will resume on its next scheduled processing date.
