How to Add or Remove an Admin on Your Pure Charity Nonprofit Account
How to Add a New Admin
Step 1: Sign in to your Pure Charity account and navigate to your Nonprofit Dashboard.
Step 2: Go to the Admins section from your dashboard menu.
Step 3: Enter the full name and email address of the person you want to add as an admin, then click “Send Invite.”
An email invitation will be sent to the person at the email address you entered. They’ll need to click the link in the email to accept the invitation before they can access the Nonprofit Dashboard. If they don’t already have a Pure Charity User Account, they’ll need to create one first.
How to Remove an Admin
To remove an admin from your nonprofit account, go to the Admins section of your Nonprofit Dashboard and click the “X” next to the admin you want to remove. Their access will be revoked immediately.
Removing someone as an admin does not delete their personal Pure Charity User Account — it only removes their access to your organization’s Nonprofit Dashboard.
Things to Keep in Mind
- Every nonprofit account should have at least one Accounting Admin who has access to billing, grants, and invoicing features. If you remove the only Accounting Admin, those features will be inaccessible until a new one is assigned.
- There’s no limit to the number of admins your nonprofit can have.
- When team members leave your organization, remember to remove their admin access to keep your account secure.
