2 Important End of Year Emails, Pre-Written for You
We know you are busy. So, to help you save time and help your donors have a great End of Year experience, we’re doing everything we can to help.
The first email template will help you communicate important information to your donors about EOY deadlines and year end statements.
The second template is specifically for those nonprofits who have started using Pure Charity in 2017 and need to communicate about split-receipting to their donors.
Hopefully these two email templates will make it super easy for you to communicate this important information to your donors.

Everything Donors Need to Know for EOY
We want to make sure you have a seamless end of year giving experience. Here are some things to keep in mind:
All donations must be submitted by December 31st to count for the 2017 tax year. This means that checks must be postmarked by December 31st and online donations must be submitted by midnight of the 31st in your timezone.
As you know, Pure Charity handles all year end statements for donations made to [NONPROFIT NAME] that have been processed through the Pure Charity platform. Some important reminders:
All year end statements are sent around January 15th. It is not possible to get a year end statement early.
If you gave online, you will receive your year end statement by email.
If you gave only by check, you will receive your year end statement by mail.
If a you would like to access your year end statement online, you may do so from January 15th on by going to https://purecharity.com/account/statements and logging in to your Pure Charity account.
Split Donations & Receipting
As you know, [NONPROFIT NAME] moved to Pure Charity in [MONTH] of this year. The move to Pure Charity has meant we are able to provide a more transparent donor experience and significantly reduce our administrative overhead.
As part of the move, our receipting services were also incorporated into the Pure Charity platform. What this means for you is that any donations you gave before [MONTH] of this year were directly receipted by [NONPROFIT NAME] and donations given after were receipted by Pure Charity in [NONPROFIT NAME]’s name.
This year, you will have two end of year statements. One from [NONPROFIT NAME] for donations before [MONTH] and one supplied by Pure Charity for donations made after. Next year, you will again only have one End of Year receipt, provided by Pure Charity, as all donations will process through the Pure Charity platform.

To access your end of year statement provided by Pure Charity, you will receive an email notification when it is ready with detail instructions to access it. Or, you can access it beginning January 15 by going to https://purecharity.com/account/statements and logging in to your Pure Charity account.
